Role Purpose: The Technical Manager is responsible for leading and maintaining all food safety, quality, legality and compliance systems across Tuk In Foods Manufacturing. This role ensures that all products manufactured across both sites meet BRCGS, legal and customer standards while supporting business growth, innovation and continuous improvement. The role spans high care and low care environments and includes oversight of New Product Development (NPD), raw materials, supplier approval, audits, complaints and factory hygiene systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and maintain the BRCGS Food Safety Management System for both sites
- Ensure full compliance with: BRCGS, UK Food Law, Customer codes of practice
- Lead and maintain the HACCP system, ensuring it remains robust, validated and up to date
- Manage site risk assessments for high care and low care areas
