Overview
In this role you become the subject-matter expert for fuel, operations and cargo while driving procurement across medium-to-high value projects. You shape category strategy, negotiate with stakeholders and manage contracts throughout their lifecycle to optimize value. You will build relationships with suppliers, monitor performance and risk, and support sustainability-related reporting and regulatory compliance. This is an business-facing, cross-cultural role with global scope and travel opportunities.

Responsibilities
- develop subject-matter expertise in fuel, ops and cargo to identify savings opportunities
- manage end-to-end procurement for medium-to-high value projects and lead negotiations
- oversee contracts throughout their lifecycle and ensure systems reflect negotiated terms
- handle escalated contractual claims and disputes while maintaining supplier relationships
- monitor aviation fuel supply assurance and regulatory compliance
- support sustainability reporting and emissions-related claims
- build internal and external networks across SM&P and suppliers; travel for meetings and visits
Key requirements
- undergraduate degree
- CIPS qualification or equivalent professional experience
- proven experience in end-to-end procurement and stakeholder coordination
- strong English proficiency; additional languages desirable
- advanced Excel skills and data analysis capability
- strong analytical and commercial acumen
