In this role you translate business needs into data-driven AI solutions that enhance personalization, recommendations, and customer analytics at TUI. You work within a cross-functional team to design, deploy, and monitor models that deliver measurable value, while guiding colleagues and building reusable frameworks. You’ll influence production AI capabilities and explore new tools to strengthen data science across the organization. Responsibilities
- Develop advanced ML models and AI solutions across the full data science lifecycle
- Translate business needs into technical solutions from discovery to deployment
- Collaborate with analytics, technology, engineering and business teams to turn data into insights
- Integrate models into production environments and support scalable AI solutions
- Mentor colleagues, share knowledge, and contribute to reusable frameworks and best practices
- Explore emerging technologies and evaluate new tools/methodologies
Key requirements
- Minimum 3+ years applying data science and ML to real-world business problems
- Strong expertise in ML algorithms, statistical methods and analytical problem-solving
- Advanced Python programming skills and experience with modern data science libraries
- Strong SQL skills
- Experience end-to-end lifecycle from discovery to production deployment
- Experience with predictive modelling, personalization, customer analytics or similar use cases
- Understanding of experimentation and A/B testing
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
