The primary purpose of the Senior Material Supplier Fleet Warranty Operative role is to manage and optimise the warranty claims process for TUI Airline, ensuring the company recovers costs effectively from Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and suppliers. This involves evaluating and submitting claims, negotiating settlements, and resolving disputes to maximize financial returns. The role also requires maintaining an accurate database to track claims and credits, providing key performance indicators (KPIs), and supporting budget reporting. Additionally, it involves liaising with third-party warranty service providers, assisting with supply chain training on Product Support and Assurance Agreements (PSAA), and physically assessing parts for warranty eligibility. By serving as the focal point for warranty-related matters, this position plays a critical role in cost control, efficiency, and compliance within the Engineering and Maintenance Supply Chain.

ABOUT THE JOB
- Manage Warranty Claims: Evaluate, submit, and negotiate warranty claims with OEMs, manufacturers, and vendors to ensure prompt settlements.
- Oversee Third-Party Providers: Liaise with and manage subcontracted warranty service providers for TUI Airline.
- Maintain Warranty Database & KPIs: Develop and manage a database for accurate claim tracking, generate monthly KPI reports, and monitor warranty budget performance.
- Provide Reporting & Analysis: Collate reclaims information and prepare reports for senior management, OEMs, and maintenance partners.
- Support Supply Chain & Budgeting: Assist with key account invoicing, repair/warranty order management, and Engineering/Supply Chain budget submissions.
- Ensure Compliance & Training: Act as the focal point for Supply Chain on Product Support and Assurance Agreements (PSAA) and provide training when required.
- Assess Parts & Warranty Viability: Physically evaluate unserviceable (U/S) parts to determine warranty eligibility and assess potential damage.
- Support Problem-Solving & Stakeholder Engagement: Provide issue resolution within the E&M Supply Chain and promote company values with internal and external stakeholders.
ABOUT YOU
- Aviation background with supply chain experience and technical experience and knowledge of aviation components.
- Background in repair agency processes and component warranty, familiarity with My Boeing Fleet and ability to interpret aircraft IPC’s, OEM CMM’s, SB’s & SIL’s.
- Strong IT skills, in particular Excel and other Microsoft applications.
- Strong business acumen, negotiating skills and quick to analyse and provide a solution.
- Demonstrate self-confidence, ability to present to both your peers and management level colleagues.
