As a Base Maintenance B1 Licensed Engineer, you'll become part of our Engineering and Maintenance function – a multi-disciplinary team of experts responsible for the technical operation and compliance of our aircraft.

Working with our impressive fleet, you'll use the latest techniques on aircraft airframe systems, engines, and components, carrying out and certifying all aspects of base maintenance including inspection, servicing, fault finding, repairs, modifications, and component changes. Reporting to the Senior Licensed Aircraft Engineer responsible for your area of work, you’ll be at the heart of keeping our aircraft flying safely and efficiently.

ABOUT THE JOB

As a B1 Licensed Engineer, you will:

  • Be part of a team of Engineers and Mechanics working on every area of the aircraft to keep them maintained to a high standard of technical compliance and presentation.
  • Under guidance and support of your Senior Licensed Engineer, complete and certify challenging and various tasks, maintaining our aircraft in accordance with applicable regulations and engineering procedures, in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring the highest standards are maintained.
  • Carry out inspections, servicing, component replacement, modifications, and repairs to aircraft systems.
  • Perform your role using appropriate tools and equipment, either working independently or as part of a team.
  • Be responsible for completing all required maintenance records in a precise manner which includes accurately reporting the time required to accomplish the tasks assigned.
  • Be supported to develop your existing skills, knowledge, and experience for the necessary standard of quality within the trade skill set, company approval and the required timescales.
  • Engage and actively support, promote, and contribute to continuous improvement ideas.
  • Have enthusiasm and perseverance, demonstrating a positive attitude, and the flexibility to change and adapt to situations to meet the company demands.
  • Work cooperatively with all team members, contributing constructively and positively to team objectives.

ABOUT YOU

  • Hold a current EASA/UK B1 licence.
  • Ideally hold a minimum of one appropriate fleet type rating (737NG/737MAX/787) but not essential.
  • Experience in a base maintenance environment.
  • Detail-oriented and well-organised.
  • Highly motivated and work effectively under pressure and time constraints.
  • Ability to multi-task within a team environment.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Responsible and able to follow procedures and technical documentation.
  • Willingness to work shifts.
  • Ability to obtain/hold required Airport Security pass.
