We are looking for a talented and dedicated information security leader to join the Airline Technology team to support the Airline CIO and TUI Group Information Security teams in their responsibility to ensure information security risks are managed in alignment to our business goals across TUI Group.
Airline Technology Information Security Team Lead is a leadership role, responsible for overseeing and supporting the application of TUI’s Information Security management framework across TUI Airline. Providing leadership, governance and a risk-based approach in managing security within specific areas of our Airline business. You will partner with our business and technology leaders to deliver visibility and effective management of Information Security.

ABOUT THE JOB
As the Airline Technology Information Security Team Lead, you will promote and inspire a security first culture within TUI Airline.You will guide the development, implementation, delivery and support of our information security implementation activities aligned to the strategic requirements of the business. You will lead the Airline Technology Information Security team to execute strategic and operational plans across all of the organisation’s information systems.You will ensure that each Airline Technology team is motivated and empowered to deliver the prioritised roadmap. This will include protecting the TUI brand and its customers, detecting and responding to incidents, strengthening our defences, reducing the attack surface and securing our behaviours.
You will:
• Lead and oversee TUI\’s Information Security management framework across TUI Airline Technology, working closely with other Information Security teams and Group Risk and Compliance teams
• Partner with business and technology leaders to deliver effective Information Security management
• Ensure compliance with Information and Cyber Security regulations including NIS 2 and Part-IS
• Manage security incidents effectively and communicate with senior stakeholders during incidents
• Drive adoption of security policies, standards and controls across the organization
• Protect critical systems and data integrity while ensuring appropriate testing and assurance
• Promote a security-first culture within TUI Airline

ABOUT YOU
• Expert understanding of technology and managing Information Security risks in a large operational enterprise, ideally accredited (CISSP/CISM/CISA etc.,) or equivalent experience
• Experience in building a positive enabling security culture based on trust, quality and pragmatic risk management in a regulated environment
• Good understanding of the international regulatory context pertaining to the aviation sector, particularly cyber security (NIS 2. Part-IS)
• Great communicator and influencer comfortable working across hierarchical, organisational, cultural and market boundaries
• Experience of the operation and maintenance of an Information Security Management framework such as ISO27001 or NIST CSF
• Ability to articulate IT security issues to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Good understanding of integrating security into software or product development lifecycle and cloud security and experience of working with Product Teams to improve and enhance their security engineering practices
