This is an extraordinary and rare opportunity to join our Manpower and Crew Planning (M&CP) management team driving our airline systems strategy implementation. In this pivotal role, you will lead the multi-year Crew Tracking Project within our wider Crew Management Systems (CMS) transformation programme.
This project will encompass the entire process, from scoping requirements and completing an RFP through to implementation and integration into Business as Usual (BAU). It will involve managing and leading a team of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) who will work closely on the project.
To ensure our new solutions are fit for purpose and future-proof, deep collaboration across TUI Airline will be essential. This involves working closely with your international team and stakeholders across the organisation to capture mission-critical processes. Additionally, it’s crucial to balance this requirement with identifying opportunities to leverage new technology and streamline processes.
The CMS Crew Tracking Lead role is suited to a strategic thinker with exceptional people & project management skills. A comprehensive understanding of Crew Tracking processes, along with the ability to translate regulatory, industrial and company obligations into system settings would be invaluable. In summary you will need to ensure that the project goals align with the business requirements and objectives.
This is a Fixed Term opportunity of approximately 1-2 years (initially this may be offered on a 12 month basis, with a view to extend). The role may be undertaken on a hybrid working model in line with any local office attendance requirements and some international travel should be expected.
In this role, you’ll report to the Head of Business Process Optimisation.

Develop and deliver against a detailed plan that identifies and secures necessary resources at the earliest opportunity to maintain the project’s integrity

Complete a comprehensive analysis of our current ("as-is") processes to inform, design, and recommend our future ("to-be") target operating model (the insights from this analysis will be a key component within our RFP to vendors)

Collaborate closely with stakeholders such as Supplier Management & Procurement (SM&P) and Transformation & Change (T&C) to ensure a comprehensive and timely RFP. The RFP will include demonstrations and workshop activities for shortlisted vendors

Alongside your team, you’ll vendor products to ensure they meet our requirements and identify opportunities to innovate and develop our operations. Following the RFP, you will lead the creation and submission of a detailed business case to senior management for approval

Strong communication & collaboration are essential to the success of this workstream. You will be accountable for presenting to SteerCo with timely updates including any emerging risks. Your team will also need to clearly communicate project updates to all TUI Airline back-office colleagues to raise awareness of the project

You’ll work on a wide variety of initiatives and in smaller working groups, act as a focal point for Crew Tracking into the broader CMS Programme
