Job Summary

As a Brand Media Account Manager at Tug, you will be responsible for overseeing both planning and implementation across a variety of brand media channels including but not exclusive to display, CTV, DOOH/OOH, audio & other Brand Media channels. This role requires someone to be comfortable communicating with clients whilst developing and implementing digital marketing strategies, and providing leadership to a team of Account Executives. You will work closely with clients, internal teams, and external vendors to drive success, achieve objectives, and contribute to the overall growth of the department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Media Planning Expertise: Bring a strong expertise in Brand Media planning across channels including but not limited to Display, CTV, OOH, Audio, etc. Experience in understanding a clients goals and building a strategy around achieving it. Want to challenge the norm, contribute to award winning work at a forward thinker agency. Deliver clear and compelling rationale to support media investment recommendations and to evidence performance vs outcomes. Strong agency experience.
  • Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts, fostering and nurturing strong relationships. Understand client goals, challenges, and expectations to provide strategic guidance and innovative solutions. Ensure client satisfaction through effective communication and responsiveness. Comfortable presenting and communicating. Have strong Vendor relationships of which your able to maintain and add to plans.
  • Campaign Strategy and Execution: Develop and execute brand media strategies focusing on meeting the clients objectives within budget constraints. Oversee the planning, implementation, and optimization of digital marketing campaigns. Be capable and have relevant experience working with DV360, CM360, flashtalking & other DSP’s. Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to continuously optimize campaign performance. Able to create and maintain relationships with media vendors and partners.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of Brand Media Executives, providing direction, support, and mentorship to drive individual and team success. Set clear performance expectations, conduct regular performance reviews, and facilitate professional development opportunities. Foster a collaborative and positive team culture that encourages creativity and innovation within the team but also across departments.
  • Client Reporting and Communication: Prepare and deliver comprehensive performance reports to clients, highlighting key insights, trends, and recommendations for optimization. Proactively communicate with clients to keep them informed about campaign progress, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Budget Management: Effectively manage budgets across client accounts, including forecasting, cost control, and maximising profitability. Identify opportunities for upselling or expanding services to increase client revenue and satisfaction.
  • Collaboration with Head of Media: Collaborate closely with the Head of Media to develop and execute client strategies, ensuring alignment with overall departmental goals and objectives. Provide valuable insights and recommendations to contribute to strategic planning and decision-making processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Brand Media Channels - relevant experience within DSP’s is a necessity.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing client accounts and delivering measurable results.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
  • In-depth knowledge of Brand Media channels.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute complex marketing strategies.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and analytics platforms.
