Tug requires an experienced Account Director to manage client relationships and drive channel strategy and results. Tug is a multi-award-winning digital media agency based in Shoreditch, with offices in Toronto, Sydney, Berlin, and Singapore. We work with well-known brands such as Merlin Entertainments, Canal & River Trust, Zipcar, and more.

You will have an eye for detail, be meticulous in your processes, and have excellent understanding of performance marketing channels, especially SEO, Paid Social, and PPC. You will nurture client and team relationships, proactively address roadblocks, and drive performance for clients and the agency.

You thrive in a fast-paced environment, and your enthusiasm and drive make you a key member of the agency and a leader within your client team. Reporting to the Managing Director, you act as the key liaison between the agency and clients, ensuring all deliverables are of high quality, fit for purpose, and meet high standards. You will also manage your revenue portfolio, identify upselling opportunities, and support the new business team with pitches.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the senior client service contact for integrated accounts (SEO, PPC, Social, Display, creative projects)
  • Prepare and approve all client-facing documents and presentations
  • Act as the eyes and ears of the client, challenging the status quo with channel teams
  • Ensure campaigns are delivered on time and within budget
  • Manage monthly revenue from your client portfolio with clear growth targets
  • Drive client strategies forward within the agency
  • Handle monthly client billing
  • Support pitches alongside the CEO/MD/Sales team
  • Organize client and team entertainment
Ideal Candidate:
  • Extensive digital marketing experience in SEO and PPC, including programmatic display, paid social, and creative
  • Minimum 3 years of online marketing experience in a client-facing role
  • Experience in large agencies (Search, Media, or Creative)
  • Blue Chip experience
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Delivery-focused and revenue-driven
  • Team player with a fun and engaging personality
