Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Medical Assistant National Certification (AAMA, AMCA, AMT, NCCT, or NHA).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification or obtain within three months.
  • 0 – Less than 2 years of Medical Assistant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Two years of Medical Assistant experience.
  • Bilingual abilities.
  • Experience with electronic medical records.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manage patient flow and communicate delays.
  • Prepare and verify medical records.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort.
  • Assist with physical exams, procedures, and vital signs.
  • Perform specimen collection and point-of-care testing.
  • Assist with diagnostic and surgical arrangements.
  • Support billing and documentation processes.
  • Monitor and manage medical supplies.

  • Provide administrative support, including interpreting services if needed.
  • May administer immunizations and cover satellite locations.
