We are looking for a Business Intelligence Lead to drive data-informed decision-making, streamline reporting processes and manage strategic projects while being hands-on with technical BI development. This role requires a blend of leadership, technical expertise and stakeholder engagement to ensure the business is leveraging data effectively. You’ll be responsible for building end-to-end BI solutions, managing the data strategy and sharing insights. The role will suit someone who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You’ll be working across all business functions in particular Finance and E-commerce teams while we transform and grow the business together – it’s an exciting time to join.
Key Responsibilities- Build and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory
- Develop and optimise data processes in SQL and Databricks
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards using DAX & Power Query
- Develop actionable insights for senior leadership to support business decisions
- Facilitate the reporting strategy and streamline data automation
- Support the KPI framework and business performance reporting
- Troubleshoot and resolve data automation issues
- Define and prioritise data and technical initiatives to align with business strategy
- Lead and oversee cross-functional projects, ensuring smooth execution
- Collaborate with Finance to support strategic decision-making
- Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams, ensuring clear communication
- Document and improve key business processes to increase efficiency
- Identify gaps, implement new workflows, and support change management initiatives
- Work closely with stakeholders across different departments to drive data-driven improvements
- Strong SQL, Power BI (DAX & M Query) and Azure Data Factory experience
- Strategic thinking with a track record of aligning data insights with business needs
- Good project management and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Experience in process improvement and reporting automation
- Great communication and problem-solving skills
- Python/Databricks experience would be beneficial
- Experience within a Retail or Fashion business would be an advantage
