We are recruiting for an enthusiastic and committed salaried GP to join our team at Tudor Medical Group. Our practice is located in Wolverhampton with circa 24,000 patient list size over 4 locations, all within close proximity.
We have an experienced clinical team comprising of a physiotherapist and an efficient nursing, administrative and managerial team. A streamlined proactive approach to daily work allows for a manageable daily workload. Systems used include Emis Web, Docman, GP Automate, AccuRx Scribe and AccuRx.
Main duties of the job:
- Face to face consultations
- Telephone consultations
- Home visits
- Supervision and training of colleagues and the wider allied healthcare professionals working within the team at specified times
- Checking and approving repeat prescriptions
- Dealing with queries / tasks
- Private medical reports
The role and responsibilities are not exhaustive or limited to the above. The GP will be assessing the health care needs of patients and making professional, autonomous decisions as part of patient consultations. This will include safe and appropriate prescribing / treatment plans. Overall the salaried GP will be expected to undertake all usual duties and responsibilities associated with an experienced GP working within primary care.

Job responsibilities:
The post-holder will deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuring the highest standards of care for all registered and temporary patients. Responsibilities will reflect requirements of the NHS GP Contracts, and as such may be subject to change as services adapt.
Person Specification:
Qualifications:
- Medical Degree - MBBS / MbChB or equivalent
- MRCGP
- Full GMC registration and inclusion on the GP performers list.
- Evidence of commitment to on-going personal and professional development.
- Hold a full UK driving License.
Experience:
- Experience of working in a primary care environment
- Experience of QOF and clinical audit
- Ability to supervise colleagues and allied healthcare professionals within clinical team
- Ability to make good, clear, concise medical notes
- Level of clinical knowledge and skills commensurate with that of an experienced GP
- Good interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral)
- Strong IT skills - including use of EMIS and Docman
- Effective time management (planning & organising)
- Commitment to education and training
- Ability to work as a team member and autonomously
- Ability to follow clinical policy and procedure
