About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated, calm, and resilient InclusionManager to lead our internal inclusion, intervention, and SEND provisionstrategies.
In this role, you will work closely with the SeniorLeadership Team (SLT), SENDCo, and pastoral teams to support vulnerablestudents, reduce fixed-term and permanent exclusions, and champion aninclusive, trauma-informed, and therapeutic learning environment.
You willoversee our internal inclusion/reflection provision, manage OUR response supportand de-escalation strategies, and engage proactively with parents, carers, andexternal agencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Inclusion Provision: Oversee the day-to-day running of theschool's inclusion and student support systems, effectively utilising the SENDistaff team and resources, and managing the student timetables, reintegrationplans, and targeted interventions.
- Behaviour & De-escalation: Lead on positive behavioursupport, managing crisis de-escalation, and implementing restorative practices.
- Student Tracking & Data: Use tracking data to identifystudents at risk of disengagement or exclusion, putting early-interventionstrategies in place.
- Multi-Agency & Family Engagement: Liaise withparents/carers, local authority professionals, social services, and externalalternative providers.
- Safeguarding: Act as a key point of contact for studentwelfare, working in tandem with the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL).
