Tudor Garage has been serving the Ystradowen community since 1973. We are a family-run independent garage with a long-standing reputation for honest, reliable service. As a local business with a petrol station and shop on site, we know many of our customers personally and take pride in looking after the local community.
Our small team works closely together, and we cover pretty much everything from tyres and servicing to general repairs. We’re now looking for an experienced mechanic to join the team and help us continue providing the friendly, dependable service our customers have trusted for over 50 years.
- Perform vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults
- Carry out inspections and identify potential issues
- Replace or repair defective vehicle components
- Conduct routine maintenance including oil changes, brakes, tyres, and exhaust systems
- Use diagnostic equipment and tools effectively
- Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an automotive mechanic or vehicle technician
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and diagnostics
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driving licence
- Relevant automotive qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
- MOT tester certification (preferred but not essential)
