Overview

We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Sales & Logistics Coordinator to join our clients expanding team. This is a varied role combining customer service, sales support, and transport coordination. You will play a key role in delivering a professional and efficient service to customers—from initial enquiry through to delivery and aftersales support. Working closely with the Sales Director and wider business, you will coordinate orders, manage deliveries, liaise with customers and transport providers, and contribute to strengthening customer relationships and business growth. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organised, commercially aware, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a primary point of contact for customers via phone, email, and online enquiries
  • Process customer orders accurately and efficiently
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Manage enquiries, delivery requests, and service issues promptly
  • Keep customers informed of delivery schedules and updates
  • Provide aftersales support and resolve any issues effectively
  • Maintain accurate customer and order records
  • Support the Sales Director with ongoing customer engagement
  • Follow up on enquiries, quotes, and sales opportunities
  • Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts
  • Generate and qualify leads before escalating
  • Assist with customer retention and account development
  • Gather customer and market feedback to support business strategy
  • Plan and coordinate deliveries using approved transport providers
  • Liaise with hauliers, suppliers, and customers to ensure timely delivery
  • Schedule and communicate delivery timelines
  • Manage delivery changes and resolve transport-related issues
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics activity
  • Ensure transport aligns with customer requirements and business priorities
  • Work collaboratively with production, purchasing, and sales teams
  • Assist with inbound raw material deliveries where required
  • Support delivery scheduling in line with production plans
  • Maintain KPI data related to transport and customer service
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency

You will be:

  • Comfortable liaising with customers, suppliers, and transport providers

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook)

Desirable Experience

  • Experience in customer service, sales support, account management, or logistics coordination
  • Background in manufacturing, agriculture, distribution, or similar sectors
  • Experience coordinating deliveries or arranging transport
  • Familiarity with ERP, CRM, or order processing systems
