Tudor Employment Agency Ltd are currently recruiting for 3.5T Van Drivers to join our well-established client based in Halesowen.
Working Hours: 7.30am – 4.30pm
Location: Halesowen
Rate of Pay: £12.71 per hour
Job Details:
- Deliver and collect goods using a 3.5T van
- Load and unload stock safely and efficiently
- Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects
- Plan and follow delivery routes to meet schedules
- Obtain proof of delivery from customers
- Provide good customer service on deliveries
- Keep vehicle clean and well maintained
- Assist in warehouse duties when required
- Follow health & safety and driving regulations
- Keep accurate delivery records and paperwork
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence
- Previous van driving experience preferred but not essential (some long distance may be required – up to 1.5 hour travel)
- Ability to carry out manual handling and heavy lifting
- Good timekeeping and a strong work ethic
This position will also require you to assist with the unloading of goods being delivered and can require lifting up to 25kg, ideal for drivers who don’t mind hands-on work alongside driving.
