This is an exciting opportunity to join our client as a temporary Finance Manager with an immediate start available to ensure adequate handover and knowledge transfer following the departure of the current Finance Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Budgeting & forecasting
- Monthly management accounts
- Managing grant monies & associated drawdown conditions
- Statutory accounting for 2 entities
- Group reporting (Vector packages)
- Business partnering across departments
- Audit facilitation
- Documenting work processes
- Handling ad-hoc queries
- Collaborating with project teams to ensure compliance & accurate accounting
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Fully qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA) + 3+ years PQE
- Experience managing & motivating staff
- Strong statutory accounts preparation experience
- Excellent business acumen
- Deadline-driven & organised
- Confident communicator at all levels
- Self-starter comfortable in a dynamic environment
- Strong technical accounting skills
- Proficient in handling & reporting large data volumes
Desirable
- Experience with grant funding & compliance
- Work on publicly funded projects
- Group reporting systems (Vector or similar)
- Familiarity with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, etc)
