We are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Officer to support a major site relocation project and oversee health & safety compliance during the construction phase

Duties

  • Manage contractors, permits to work and site inductions
  • Ensure compliance with CDM Regulations and H&S legislation
  • Review and update H&S policies and procedures
  • Conduct audits, inspections and risk assessments
  • Deliver toolbox talks and staff training
  • Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses
  • Maintain H&S records including RIDDOR and COSHH
  • Support fire safety and evacuation procedures

Requirements

  • NEBOSH Diploma essential
  • Chartered IOSH (CMIOSH) preferred
  • Construction site experience essential
  • Strong knowledge of CDM Regulations
  • Experience delivering H&S training
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • CSCS Card
