Tudor Employment Agency are currently recruiting for a Senior Support Worker for a Children’s Care Home in Birmingham.

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Senior Support Worker to support children and young people who have complex mental health disorders, learning disabilities, and emotional and behavioural difficulties.

Salary: £25,300 - £26,800 per annum

Duties of a Senior Support Worker will include:

  • Provide effective monitoring, support and supervision to the staff team always acting as a positive role model in line with Care Regulations
  • Manage staff rotas, complete daily shift queries and ensure handover is completed to a high standard
  • Provide on call cover as arranged by the Home Manager
  • Ensure all required documentation and records are completed in line with requirements
  • Ensuring positive relationships with the children & young people, and always safeguarding them

In order to be considered for the role of a Senior Support Worker:

  • Full UK Driving License
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience within Children’s Residential Service
  • Hold a Diploma Level 3 for Residential Childcare or Equivalent (Qualified)
  • Excellent Communication
  • Basic Computer Skills
