We are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Officer to support a major site relocation project and oversee health & safety compliance during the construction phase
Duties
- Manage contractors, permits to work and site inductions
- Ensure compliance with CDM Regulations and H&S legislation
- Review and update H&S policies and procedures
- Conduct audits, inspections and risk assessments
- Deliver toolbox talks and staff training
- Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses
- Maintain H&S records including RIDDOR and COSHH
- Support fire safety and evacuation procedures
Requirements
- NEBOSH Diploma essential
- Chartered IOSH (CMIOSH) preferred
- Construction site experience essential
- Strong knowledge of CDM Regulations
- Experience delivering H&S training
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- CSCS Card
