Tudor Employment Agency are currently recruiting for a HR Assistant to work for our client based in Cannock.
This role will be to support and empower management across the business in providing high-quality and efficient people management and service into their respective teams.
Salary: Β£32,000 per annum
Duties of a HR Assistant will include:
- Provide high-level HR support and guidance to managers across all departments
- Use data and analytics to improve people management practices
- Support with employee relations matters (e.g., disciplinary, absence, grievance, welfare, capability)
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, leavers, and succession planning
- Maximise use of the Apprenticeship Levy and support internal development
- Drive performance and reward management initiatives, including recognition schemes
- Promote employee engagement and champion mental health and wellbeing
- Meet regularly with managers to review HR KPIs and identify areas for support
- Review and interpret HR data reports to implement improvement initiatives
- Assist in policy and procedure development, including training and implementation
- Create, review, and deliver training via the HR IT system (eduMe)
- Lead or support HR IT system projects and module implementation
- Maintain accurate employee records and data
- Provide a flexible, proactive HR service across the business
- Support the rollout and use of HR IT software at all staff levels
- Contribute to HR-related projects and undertake other duties as required
In order to be considered for the role of HR Assistant:
- Ability to work independently, with excellent organisation skills with the ability to prioritise workloads
- Ability to work professionally whilst under pressure and to time constraint
- Good knowledge of UK employment law
- Excellent planning skills with the ability to analyse problems and recommend solutions
- CIPD Level 3 or working towards an equivalent qualification
- Strong negotiation and coaching skills
Hours of Work for the HR Assistant: Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week (This role is hybrid working with an expectation that 50% of working time will be based on site in Cannock. Please note that due to the nature of the role there will be a requirement to work flexibly ensuring evening cover onsite when required up until 10pm)
