The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out deliveries and collections while maintaining a high standard of service and safe driving practices at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carrying out local and regional deliveries and collections
  • Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
  • Ensuring goods are delivered accurately and on time
  • Completing delivery paperwork and relevant documentation
  • Conducting daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
  • Maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach
  • Following all road transport and health & safety regulations
  • Supporting with manual handling duties where required
  • Working efficiently to meet delivery schedules
  • Ideal Candidate
  • Previous van driving experience is essential
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • No more than 6 penalty points (due to insurance requirements)
  • No DR, DD, IN, or CD endorsements
  • Good knowledge of local and regional road networks
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude

  • Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling
