Bench Technician

Tudor Employment Agency is on the lookout for a skilled Bench Technician to join our client’s dynamic workshop team in Walsall🔧

🏭 Our client specialises in hydraulic tooling and mechanical systems, supplying high-performance equipment across industries including oil & gas, transport, utilities, and manufacturing 🌍🚢🚛

Responsibilities

• Assemble, operate, and test hydraulic equipment including hoses, sub-assemblies, tensioners, pumps, and accessories
• Pick and pack hydraulic tensioners and components when required
• Work from technical drawings to build various hydraulic tools
• Operate forklift trucks and perform slinging and rigging tasks
• Work independently or as part of a team to meet production deadlines
• Use handheld and power tools in a physical workshop environment
• Follow MRP systems and workshop procedures
• Understanding of hydraulic systems and safety risks
• Ability to use test equipment safely and accurately
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn
• Physically fit, proactive, and passionate about progression
• Good listener with strong initiative and attention to detail
• Knowledge of Health & Safety in workshop settings
• Forklift and slinging/rigging licences (preferred but not essential)

Working Schedule

Monday–Friday: 8am–4:30pm (weekends are yours! 🎉)
