Tudor Employment Agency are recruiting for a Production Operative (Yard Shunter) to work for our prestigious client based in Solihull. Our client manufactures animal bedding out of high‑quality, recycled soft wood which is delivered into the yard.
Responsibilities
- Manoeuvre trailers using a shunter unit to different areas of the yard
- Picking up and setting down laden and unladen trailers
- General production duties
- Operate cutting‑edge machinery, drive a forklift truck, Leibherr telehandlers and other mobile plant
- Carry out daily checks on the shunter unit and other plant, ensuring defects are reported
Qualifications & Experience
Experience in this field would be desirable, but not essential. Must be prepared to operate cutting‑edge machinery and mobile plant.
Shift & Pay
Flexible hours within a 9.5‑hour shift (some weekend work required). Rate of Pay: £14.20 per hour.
