Tudor Employment Agency are recruiting on behalf of a prestigious West Midlands based client who are looking for a Tool Maker / Bench Hand. Our client has recently secured numerous new contracts, creating a fantastic opportunity for you to join their team. Employment Type: Permanent Position
Successful applicants will be on a Self Employed basis.
Salary: £40-£55k per annum (£850 - £1100 per week - £19.50 - £26.50phr - performance based)
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilise your toolmaking background to understand plastic injection mould tooling and procedures for repair, modification, and servicing.
- Work on bespoke tooling up to 10 tons.
- Apply your experience with hydraulics, hot runners, and hand tools.
- Machining skills and experience with TIG and laser welding are advantageous.
- Experience with overhead cranes and forklifts is a plus (training available).
- Demonstrate good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Produce high-quality work efficiently, maximizing your earnings based on your abilities.
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 7:30 am - 5:00 pm
