Tuckswood Academy is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, friendly, self-motivated and conscientious cleaner to join our estates team. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring the school building and facilities are clean, tidy and well maintained to a high standard at all times.

Duties include:

  • Polishing
  • Emptying bins
  • Cleaning floors
  • Ensuring dispensers and cleaning consumables are replenished and available

Applicants should possess excellent attention to detail and organisational skills along with a flexible approach and the ability to work independently and as part of a busy team. Personal qualities are of paramount importance and the person appointed will be expected to be approachable, professional and reliable.

The hours for this post will be 15 hours per week, Term Time plus 4 weeks, Monday - Friday between 3pm and 6pm. Flexibility is essential to cover absence.

This post is likely to come under the requirements of the Childcare (Disqualification) 2009 Regulations, therefore successful candidates will be required to complete a declaration form to establish whether they are disqualified under these regulations.
