The primary functions of the Delivery Helper are to load, locate job sites, back up, prepare and restore the job site, and prepare the truck for the following day while maintaining the truck and equipment.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Compliance with company, state and federal guidelines, especially OSHA and DOT, for the safety of all personnel.
- Perform pre-trip inspections of equipment, paperwork and loaded product to ensure accuracy of order.
- Safely unload product and deliver to assigned area as directed by the customer.
- Secure mud, equipment, metal, and pallets on truck.
- Navigate routes to the job site.
Basic Qualifications:
- Ability to read, write and communicate information accurately.
- Stamina to lift at least 75 lbs. in order to carry materials such as drywall materials and joint compound.

- Must be able to remain standing 90% of the time.
- Constantly moving from unloading materials from commercial motor vehicles onto job sites.
- Constantly positioning oneself to unload and load materials from flatbed or boom.
- Frequently moves materials weighing up to 100 lbs while unloading and loading flatbed.
- Must be able to communicate with management and coworkers and exchange accurate information in these situations.
- Constantly working in an outdoor environment while making deliveries.
Required Cognitive Skills:

- Manage stress depending on customers’ deadlines.
- Multi-task effectively.
- Receive information and directions accurately.
