A super opportunity to join an award winning collection of developing businesses in a picturesque part of North Devon. This role will oversee the running of a premium gastro pub offering really creative and individual food and drink menus from locally sourced produce, much of which is fresh from the neighbouring farm also owned by this ambitious group.

Duties & Responsibilities

This Restaurant Manager will oversee the day to day running of this exceptional pub, working closely with a highly regarded Head Chef ensuring the highest levels of guest focus and service at all times. Responsibilities include:

  • Operationally overseeing all aspects of running the FOH of the pub
  • Recruiting, training and developing the team
  • Organising rotas and understanding the seasonal peaks and troughs
  • Working to budgets and producing accurate forecasts
  • Feeding in ideas and initiatives to grow and develop the business further as the overall portfolio expands

Candidate Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have food and beverage experience in a comparable high quality food led business. The right candidate with Assistant Management experience will be considered as further training and development can be given. A really in depth food and beverage knowledge is required for this role and a true passion for great sustainable food and the highest level of customer service is an absolute must. As a people focused manager you will be able to demonstrate your ability to grow your team and be comfortable implementing personal development plans. You will enjoy working for an independently minded group and be keen to go on an exciting journey with them.
