Located within commuting distance of Chard, Taunton & Ilminster, this lovely property has a small number of bedroom and extensive F&B and Wedding facilities.

The role

As part of this independent hotel / wedding venue, we are looking for a wedding specialist to lead the marketing function to ensure a pipeline of in bound enquiries.

Specific responsibilities will include;

– Proactively driving marketing channels to ensure a pipeline of enquiries

– Working with third party wedding platforms to generate enquires

– Lead the hotels social media presence, utilising to generate business, organising all marketing activity, ticket events, weddings fairs

– Advising on external wedding fairs to attend based on expected ROI

– Put together relevant packages for example for mid week weddings, last minute availability

– Support and develop the hotel based Wedding Co-ordinator with their on going training

– Compile and submit reports as required for the owners

The Candidate

We are looking for a wedding specialist, someone with current knowledge of the industry who can use this experience to market this hotel appropriately to the market.

Candidates should be able to demonstrate their knowledge of current trends and relevant planforms to be able to deliver return on investment.

This is a part time role, approx. 3 days a week with flexible hours to suit. The role is likely to be mainly home based.
