General Manager Retail Catering – Visitor Attraction

This is a great opportunity to join a leading retail catering business as Operations Manager for this hugely successful visitor attraction in the Bristol area.

The Role

We are seeking a dynamic Operations Manager to lead our team of managers and supervisors at a busy, family-focused attraction on the outskirts of Bristol. This is a high-volume, multi-outlet food operation, requiring a strategic and hands-on leader to drive performance, maintain quality, and maximise revenue during peak times.

– Lead, coach, and develop a team of managers and supervisors to deliver outstanding food service across multiple outlets.

– Ensure food quality and service standards, creating a fantastic experience for visitors.

– Manage margins, costs, and stock control to drive profitability.

– Implement and maintain robust processes to ensure smooth operations, especially during peak periods to enable to team to be able to scale up with demand

– Ensure full compliance with food safety, health & safety, and company policies.

– Work closely with senior management to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

The Candidate

To be considered for this role we are looking for candidates with experience in managing multi-retail outlets within a high volume business.

Strong General Managers from high street branded operations will also be welcomed.

– Proven experience in a high-volume food operation, ideally within visitor attractions, retail catering, or leisure.

– Strong leadership and team management skills able to inspire and develop a high-performing team.

– A commercial mindset, with experience in maximising revenue and controlling costs.

– Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to thrive under pressure.
