Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 DOE

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm or 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

Holidays: 29 days (inclusive of Christmas and New Year closures)

The Role

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and skilled IT Support Technician to join the team. Based at their main production facility in Glasgow, you’ll provide day-to-day technical support for factory and office teams, maintain IT systems across five sites, and assist in delivering key IT projects. This role is perfect for someone with a proactive approach who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage onsite IT requirements, including installations, moves, and equipment changes.
  • Support IT systems for factory and warehouse operations, including handheld devices, printers, and production equipment.
  • Maintain on-site physical security systems (gates, cameras, security fobs).
  • Provide IT support for sales and finance operations, including EDI and FTP order processing.
  • Liaise with third-party partners and coordinate support activities.
  • Assist with IT onboarding for new staff.
  • Contribute to the implementation and configuration of new IT systems.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • 2-3 years of experience in IT support, ideally within manufacturing or food production environments.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, N+, S+).
  • Experience with EDI/FTP setup and troubleshooting is desirable.
  • Proficiency in Office 365.
