Whether you are newly qualified or a seasoned specialist, this is a fantastic opportunity to work within one of Northern Ireland’s largest and most forward-thinking healthcare providers. Positions are available across a range of specialties including acute, community, surgical, medical, paediatrics, diabetes, gastroenterology, health promotion, and specialist areas such as ENT and Head & Neck.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nutrition and dietetic services to patients in hospital and community settings.
  • Assess, diagnose, and manage patients with a range of nutritional needs using clinical judgment and current best practices.
  • Provide personalised nutritional advice, including oral and enteral feeding plans.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings, discharge planning and service development initiatives.
  • Contribute to audit, research, student training, and mentoring as appropriate to your banding and experience.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, carers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.

Minimum criteria:

  • Have a minimum of 18 months post registration clinical experience in dietetics at a minimum band 5.
  • Previous experience in working with patients requiring enteral tube feeding.
  • Degree or Diploma in Nutrition and/or Dietetics OR a related Degree with post graduate qualification in Dietetics.
  • Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council in dietetics (or eligible for registration at time of appointment).
  • Have completed post graduate/masters level PENG or advanced clinical nutrition course or willingness to undertake on appointment.
