Senior Industrial Design Engineer Global Floorcare, part of TTI, is home to two iconic floorcare brands: Vax and Hoover. We are seeking a creative and hands-on industrial design engineer to transform ideas into desirable, manufacturable products that delight consumers and strengthen our brand. This role focuses on developing concepts and designs across a range of floorcare products working across a number of teams and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Develop compelling product concepts and designs.
- Create high-quality CAD models & renders.
- Drive ergonomic and user experience excellence in designs.
- Develop & contribute to CMF and Visual Brand Language.
- Design & build compelling visual models and UX Prototypes.
- Support design research and validation activities.
- Collaborate with Engineering to deliver A-Surface Intent.
- Collaborate with Electrical Engineering to integrate new UI / HMI Features into future products.
- Communicate design intent to business and key stakeholders.
What we need from you:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Industrial, Product or UX Design or Equivalent.
- Strong Industrial Design Experience in Consumer Product.
- Excellent CAD, Sketching and Presentation Skills.
- Proven ability to rapidly produce high quality renders.
- Experience in Design Research Methodologies (IDEO, Design Thinking, Human Centred Design).
