TTG Media , the UK\'s leading travel trade media brand and a proudly certified B Corp , is looking for a news-savvy, digitally fluent reporter to join our award-winning editorial team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a journalist with brilliant news sense , a passion for impactful storytelling and flair for using social media to amplify and engage. You\'ll have the ability to dig deep into the issues shaping the travel industry , covering everything from fast-paced breaking news and data-led industry insights to sustainability, DEI and innovation in travel.

What You’ll Do:

  • Break compelling, agenda-setting stories for TTG’s digital platforms and newsletters.
  • Build and contribute to TTG’s daily and weekly email newsletters , helping shape how our journalism reaches its key audiences.
  • Monitor and engage with relevant conversations on social media , using platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram to amplify stories and spot trends.
  • Use analytics and insights to track performance and shape future content decisions.
  • Deliver insightful reporting that informs and empowers the UK travel trade.
  • Conduct interviews with industry leaders, entrepreneurs and changemakers.
  • Collaborate with our editors, writers and designers to shape impactful journalism across different platforms and formats.
  • Be a true team player, aligned with TTG’s values of inclusivity, innovation and impact.
  • Represent TTG at industry events, press briefings and travel trade conferences.
  • Contribute to a newsroom that values integrity , curiosity and positive change .

About You:

  • A journalist with a proven ability to spot a story , ask the right questions and turn around clean, accurate copy at pace.
  • Comfortable with email newsletter tools and maximising impact using a modern CMS .
  • Interested in and motivated by optimising engagement through smart content curation.
  • Digitally aware and proficient using social media to amplify journalism and grow reach.
  • Curious and analytical – someone who uses data and audience insights to inform editorial decisions.
  • Equally comfortable covering fast-paced breaking news or working on longer-form analysis , as well as sourcing exclusives.
  • A natural collaborator who thrives in a supportive, mission-driven team .
  • Passionate about issues that matter – especially sustainability , diversity , and equity within the travel industry.
  • Comfortable with international travel at different points throughout the year
  • Prior experience as a reporter in either local, regional or national news and/or B2B journalism is essential .
