Our Barnstaple facility is located in North Devon. Role Overview and Responsibilities TT Electronics, Barnstaple, is hiring for a Test & or Inspection Engineer to test & record manufactured or repaired products to internal or external test specifications and a high degree of accuracy, with the aid of ATE, or long hand test equipment.Key Responsibilities Include: Test & or Inspect product in a timely manner in line with expected costed time restraintsComplete Test or Inspection tasks within a Quality Accredited environment, in accordance with both General Manufacturing and Aerospace controls.The role requires a zero tolerance to defectsProactive outlook on an improvements culture with a view of continuous improvementWork within a zero harm culture Qualifications, Skills and Attributes What We Look For: A proven track record of safety and working as a willing, competent member of a teamA willingness to undertake an annual eye examination & colour blindness checksA flexible in approach, with a willingness to learn new skillsA willingness to undertake learning programmes such as IPC 610/620 ISO quality controls, as necessaryClose attention to detail, in terms of adhering accurately to internal specifications/test programmes and or customer specifications/drawings test specsThe ability to work in an orderly manner and organised in a 6S environmentA zero defects, right first-time attitudeThe ability to work to required Key Point Indicators (KPI) with respect to quality of work, performance & outputTravel may be required to support business needsPlease be aware that many roles at TT Electronics are subject to both security and export control restrictions which means that limitations relating to nationality may apply.
