Role Overview and Responsibilities
The purpose of this role is to provide robust assurance that the organisation’s AS9100, AS9110 & ISO14001 Management Systems are effectively implemented, maintained and continually improved. The Compliance Auditor is responsible for executing and managing the internal audit programme, overseeing non-conformance, CAPA management and ensuring effective configuration control of all QMS documentation.
- Develop, maintain and deliver the risk-based internal audit programme aligned to AS9100 and AS9110.
- Plan, conduct and document audits using the Q Pulse system.
- Coordinate audit activities with internal stakeholders to ensure effective audit execution.
- Report audit findings clearly and objectively, promoting ownership and understanding of compliance gaps.
- Support external, customer and certification audits, including preparation, execution and follow-up of actions.
Qualifications, Skills and Attributes
Core Requirements
- Strong aerospace experience in manufacturing, MRO or design/engineering environments.
- Proven experience working within AS9100 and/or AS9110 Quality Management Systems.
- IRCA Internal Auditor Qualification.
- Demonstrable experience of internal audit execution and management.
- Hands-on experience with Q Pulse, including audit management, NCRs, CAPAs and document control.
Desirable Skills and Experience
- Experience of EASA/UKCAA Part 21G and 145 regulations.
- Knowledge of ISO14001 and or ISO45001 standard.
- CQI Practitioner or professional quality membership.
- IRCA Certified Lead Auditor.
