Role Overview & Responsibilities
As our Recruitment Coordinator, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering a seamless recruitment and onboarding experience across both experienced hires and early careers.
Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Lead for our Power Division, and based at our Bedlington manufacturing facility, you'll be predominantly supporting our three sites in Northumberland, South Wales and Devon.
Key Responsibilities
- Candidate Attraction and
Management: Acting as a key liaison for candidates, agencies, and internal stakeholders, finalising and posting job adverts, screening CVs against defined criteria, and conducting initial candidate assessments.
- Enhancing the Candidate Experience: Ensuring clear and professional communication with candidates, answering queries, providing status updates, and providing timely feedback.
- Interview Coordination: Liaising with hiring managers, agencies, and candidates to schedule interviews.
- Administrative
Support: Providing guidance on our ATS system (i CIMS) to hiring managers and HR colleagues, ensuring best practice usage, accurate data tracking, and full GDPR compliance.
- Onboarding Assistance: Supporting smooth onboarding in collaboration with HR colleagues.
- Process
Improvement: Assisting the Divisional Talent Acquisition Lead for Power in developing recruitment strategies, standardising procedures, and identifying areas for efficiency improvements.
- Employer Branding: Championing our Employer Value Proposition (EVP) and building our employer brand on social media and digital platforms.
Qualifications, Skills and Attributes
- Proven experience in an internal talent acquisition or external recruitment role, ideally within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment processes and candidate engagement best practices.
- A good understanding of equal opportunities, ED&I, and GDPR compliance.
- Prior knowledge of applicant tracking systems.
- Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills.
- Strong organisational and coordination abilities.
- A continuous improvement mindset.
- Confidence working with stakeholders at all levels.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly.
- Recruitment Requirements
