We are looking for a Bid Manager to lead high-impact proposals within our Microelectronics value stream. In this role, you will take ownership of end-to-end bid delivery, shaping compelling, compliant, and competitive proposals that secure both new and repeat business in markets such as Aerospace and Defence. Working closely with technical, commercial, and leadership teams, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth while protecting margin and quality.

Reporting to the Value Stream Director, you will:

  • Own the full bid lifecycle, from opportunity qualification through to submission and post-bid review.
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams, keeping bids on track, on time, and fully compliant.
  • Create clear, persuasive, and well-structured submissions that maximise win probability.
  • Ensure consistency in branding, messaging, and quality across all bid materials.
  • Build strong internal and external relationships, leading kick-offs, reviews, and customer debriefs.
  • Track performance metrics, maintain the bid library, and capture lessons learned to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in business, a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in bid, proposal, or tender management.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Confidence managing multiple deadlines and stakeholders in parallel.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • A proactive, innovative approach to problem-solving.
