We’re looking for an Electronics Design Engineer to support the design and development of specialist Human Machine Interface (HMI) products that enhance user experience, improve communication, and boost productivity. Working closely with customers, suppliers, and internal teams, you’ll help turn innovative product ideas into reality, from concept through to manufacture.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with the Design Engineering team to design and develop electronic assemblies for specialist HMI products.
  • Taking projects from concept, through design and testing, to manufacture.
  • Supporting and improving existing products through design modifications and application support.
  • Designing multi-layer PCBs, including schematic capture and layout.
  • Developing and maintaining test software and electronic test assemblies.
  • Programming microprocessors and working with analogue and digital circuits.
  • Evaluating new components and technologies for future designs.
  • Producing clear design and test documentation and supporting production transfer.
  • Sharing knowledge to strengthen the team’s electrical engineering capability.

Qualifications:

  • Degree (or equivalent experience) in Electronics Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Strong understanding of electronics design, manufacturing processes, and electrical interfaces.
  • Experience with mixed-signal, board-level design and component-level fault finding.
  • Proficiency with PCB and circuit design CAD tools.
  • Hands-on experience with electronic prototyping and testing.
  • Clear communicator who can explain complex technical concepts.
  • Self-motivated, organised, and comfortable managing multiple projects.
