Our Barnstaple facility is located in North Devon. Founded in 1948, the site now employs approximately 140 employees and features the Aero Stanrew brand of electromagnetic components, printed‑circuit board assemblies, cabinet wiring and electronic test equipment for safety critical applications in aerospace and defence, industrial and transportation industries. Role Overview And Responsibilities

TT Electronics, Barnstaple, is hiring for a Test & or Inspection Engineer to test & record manufactured or repaired products to internal or external test specifications and a high degree of accuracy, with the aid of ATE, or long hand test equipment.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Test & or Inspect product in a timely manner in line with expected costed time restraints
• Complete Test or Inspection tasks within a Quality Accredited environment, in accordance with both General Manufacturing and Aerospace controls. The role requires a zero tolerance to defects
• Proactive outlook on an improvements culture with a view of continuous improvement
• Work within a zero harm culture

Qualifications, Skills And Attributes

What We Look For:

• A proven track record of safety and working as a willing, competent member of a team
• A willingness to undertake an annual eye examination & colour blindness checks
• A flexible in approach, with a willingness to learn new skills
• A willingness to undertake learning programmes such as IPC 610/620 ISO quality controls, as necessary
• Close attention to detail, in terms of adhering accurately to internal specifications/test programmes and or customer specifications/drawings test specs
• The ability to work in an orderly manner and organised in a 6S environment
• A zero defects, right first‑time attitude
• The ability to work to required Key Point Indicators (KPI) with respect to quality of work, performance & output

Travel may be required to support business needs. Please be aware that many roles at TT Electronics are subject to both security and export control restrictions which means that limitations relating to nationality may apply.
