We are currently seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled mechanic to work in a fast-paced environment maintaining and repairing a modern fleet of HGVs and trailers.
The Role: You will be responsible for the maintenance, inspection, and repair of HGV vehicles and trailers, ensuring they are kept in a safe and roadworthy condition at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and inspections
- Diagnose faults and perform mechanical and electrical repairs
- Maintain and repair HGVs and trailers to a high standard
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations
- Complete job cards and maintain accurate records
- Work effectively both independently and within a team
Essential Criteria:
- Previous experience working on HGVs and trailers
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Good knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
- Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise workload
