We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and organised Accounts Payable Administrator to join our busy Accounts team at our Ballymena office.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong attention to detail who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

Duties and

Responsibilities: Receive, review, and verify supplier invoices for accuracy.

Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents.

Process invoices and prepare payments (checks, electronic transfers, or wire payments).

Reconcile vendor statements and resolve payment discrepancies.

Maintain accurate accounts payable records and filing systems.

Ensure payments are made according to company policies and payment terms.

Respond to vendor inquiries regarding invoices and payments.

Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.

Prepare reports on accounts payable balances and outstanding invoices.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.

Support audits by providing required documentation.

Essential

Criteria: Previous experience in an Accounts Payable or similar finance role.

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting software.

Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.

Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Desirable criteria: Experience working within the transport, logistics, freight, or warehousing industry (although full training will be provided).
