Our client requires an experienced Mechanical Supervisor for a life sciences project in Surrey.
Role: Mechanical Supervisor
Location: Windlesham
Client: M&E design and build
Contract: 3 months
Rate: 280-320 p/d
Job Description:
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor technicians and subcontractors, assigning daily tasks and managing performance.
- Operational Oversight: Oversee installations (HVAC, pipework, plant) or maintenance programs (preventative/reactive) to ensure high productivity.
- Safety and Compliance: Enforce health and safety regulations, conduct toolbox talks, and ensure compliance with statutory requirements (e.g., pressurized systems, HVAC).
- Project Coordination: Liaise between project managers, clients, and site teams to ensure project specifications are met and manage material availability.
- Technical Problem Solving: Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues, conduct site audits, and identify productivity improvements.
