TSSI Recruit are looking for SEN Teaching Assistants & Early Years with SEND experience, especially in Autism, to work in a well-run SEN School in West London. The role will start immediately and will likely last until the end of the academic year for the right candidate, making it perfect for someone seeking a full-time, long-term position.
Responsibilities and duties:
- Working with small groups or in a 1:1 setting
- Collaborating with the class teacher on differentiation and helping students access a tailored curriculum
- Keeping students engaged in lessons
- Using de-escalation techniques to ensure pupils are calm and able to access the full range of education offered
- Assisting students in personal care when required
Essential Criteria:
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Two recent work references and relevant DBS/Police checks
- Right to work in the UK (A Valid Visa)
- Able to work 2-5 days per week term time only (those looking for supply work)
