TSSI Recruit are looking for: SEN Teaching Assistants & Early Years with SEND experience especially in Autism to work in a well-run SEN School in West London.

* TA with primarily ASC, experience – 1:1 support for pupil with high sensory needs
* TA with PMLD /SLD experience – pupils with complex medical needs and severe learning difficulties
Most students have Special Educational Needs, including Autism, PMLD, SLD and mobility issues.
The role will start immediately and will likely last until the end of the academic year for the right candidate so it would be perfect for a candidate looking for a full-time, long-term position.
Responsibilities and duties:
•Working with small groups or in a 1:1 setting
•Working with the class teacher on differentiation and helping students access a tailored curriculum
•Keeping students engaged in lessons
•Using de-escalation techniques to ensure pupils are calm and able to access the full range of education offered
Assist students in personal care when required.
Essential Criteria:
•Strong behaviour management skills
•Two recent work references and relevant DBS/Police checks
•Have a right to work in the UK (A Valid Visa)
•Able to work 2-5 days per week term time only ( those looking for supply work)
