What you'll be doing:

  • Installing & maintaining CCTV, access control, PA/VA, DCIS and integrated comms systems
  • Running, terminating and testing structured cabling & fibre
  • Installing containment, power supplies and field equipment
  • Electrical testing, fault finding and certification
  • Supporting commissioning and handover
  • Working to approved rail standards, WPPs and method statements

Electricians should have:

  • NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds or equivalent
  • 18th Edition (BS7671)
  • Experience with LV/ELV supplies for SISS equipment
  • Competence in testing, inspection & fault diagnosis

SISS Engineers should have:

  • Strong background in CCTV, DCIS & access control installs
  • Experience in networked / IP based systems
  • Knowledge of structured cabling & integration

Essential:

  • Valid PTS Rail or infrastructure experience
  • Ability to work independently on site
  • Strong focus on safety & quality
