An excellent contract opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to join a civils project based in Necton, Norfolk. This is a long-term contract position offering a competitive, negotiable day rate for the right candidate, available through either a Ltd Company or CIS arrangement.
You’ll be joining a well-established site with a strong supporting team around you — both on the ground and commercially — meaning you can focus on what you do best. Key Responsibilities- Lead project and programme management across the full duration of the works
- Plan and manage day-to-day site operations including labour, plant, and materials
- Produce and maintain 4-week look-ahead programmes to keep the project running smoothly
- Prepare temporary works design briefs and oversee their review and acceptance
- Maintain the project risk register and proactively communicate potential impacts
- Accurately record delays and issue Early Warning Notices (EWNs) to support the commercial team
- Read and interpret technical drawings, getting ahead of issues before they become problems
- Ensure all works are delivered safely, on programme, and to a high standard
- A strong project and programme manager first and foremost — someone who can plan, organise, and drive delivery
- Solid, hands-on experience in the civils sector with proven knowledge of formwork, reinforcement, and concrete structures — this is non-negotiable
- Previous experience on renewables projects is a real advantage
- A background with Tier 1 contractors would be beneficial
- Comfortable with project management software and day-to-day IT tools
- Strong communicator with excellent organisational and problem-solving ability
- Hands-on, proactive, and ready to integrate quickly into an existing team
