Our client is seeking a proactive and customer-focused Multi-Skilled Facilities Engineer to support client sites throughout the South West of England and South Wales.
Based in Bristol or Bath, the successful candidate will work across a diverse range of commercial and retail environments, providing maintenance, repair and refurbishment services.
The role offers significant autonomy and is ideally suited to an engineer who enjoys problem-solving, taking ownership of maintenance issues and delivering a high-quality service to clients across a broad geographical area.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver planned and reactive maintenance services across the South West and South Wales.
- Carry out building fabric repairs, alterations and installations.
- Complete plumbing repairs and minor installation works.
- Undertake basic electrical maintenance tasks.
- Carry out carpentry, decorating and finishing works.
- Conduct site inspections and condition assessments.
- Support refurbishment, fit-out and small project activities.
- Ensure client sites remain safe, compliant and operational.
- Maintain accurate maintenance documentation and service records.
- Develop strong relationships with client stakeholders and site teams.
Essential Experience
- Facilities maintenance or building fabric maintenance experience.
- Multi-trade maintenance capability.
- Working knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems.
- Experience operating independently across multiple client locations.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
Desirable
- Building Services or Facilities qualification.
- IPAF, PASMA and CSCS.
- 18th Edition qualification.
- Joinery, carpentry or refurbishment experience.
- Experience within retail, hospitality or logistics sectors
