Boilermaker Welders – We are looking for trade qualified Boilermaker Welders to join our client for ongoing employment opportunities in a workshop based in Perth for an immediate start.
About Our Client
Our client stands out as one of the world\’s largest producers of high-quality conveyor products, recognized for pioneering top-tier conveyor components across global locations including Australia, Brazil, Canada, Indonesia, and Chile. Their extensive range encompasses components tailored for optimal performance and durability across various applications, covering conveyor rollers, idlers, pulleys, belt cleaners, and conveyor accessories.
Responsibilities
- Interpreting drawings, measuring, fabricating, cutting (oxy and saw) and welding pulley support frames.
- MIG welding of mild grade steel (250-350) – 1.2 mm wire, 6 mm fillet welds, all carbon steel.
- Welding will be a mix of visual and X-ray compliance to AS 1554.
- Workshop experience is essential.
- Certificate III in Fabrication Engineering.
- Forklift license is advantageous.
Pay Rates / Shifts / Hours
- Base Rate – $59.81 (including shift loading) + Penalties + Super
- OT 1 – $76.35
- OT 2 – $101.80
- 38 hours per week whilst training (est. 1-2 weeks)
- Estimated 50 hours per week once training has been completed (if required)
- Ongoing work with the opportunity for permanent employment
- Squeaky clean and very safe work environment
- Just off Tonkin Highway with plenty of free parking
