Are you an experienced Site Manager seeking long-term stability and opportunities for career progression? TS Recruitment is proud to partner with a well-established main contractor operating across the East Midlands and South Yorkshire. We are currently recruiting a Site Manager / Assistant Site Manager to support a Project Manager on a £7.5 million new build project.

What's on Offer:

  • Competitive salary: £50,000 - £55,000 (depending on experience)
  • Car allowance
  • 28 days holiday including bank holidays
  • Pension scheme (following a 3-month qualifying period)
  • Site hours: Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the Project Manager to ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to high standards
  • Manage on-site labour and subcontractors effectively
  • Oversee a technically complex site involving M&E, brickwork, joinery, and finishing trades
  • Interpret and provide guidance on technical drawings
  • Conduct site inductions and toolbox talks
  • Perform regular site inspections to assess progress and quality
  • Support the Project Manager with progress reporting and programme tracking

Candidate Requirements:

  • SMSTS and First Aid certification
  • CSCS card (preferably Black)
  • Proven experience managing care home or commercial build projects for a main contractor
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Ambition to progress within a long-term role
