Are you an experienced Site Manager seeking long-term stability and opportunities for career progression? TS Recruitment is proud to partner with a well-established main contractor operating across the East Midlands and South Yorkshire. We are currently recruiting a Site Manager / Assistant Site Manager to support a Project Manager on a £7.5 million new build project.
What's on Offer:
- Competitive salary: £50,000 - £55,000 (depending on experience)
- Car allowance
- 28 days holiday including bank holidays
- Pension scheme (following a 3-month qualifying period)
- Site hours: Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the Project Manager to ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to high standards
- Manage on-site labour and subcontractors effectively
- Oversee a technically complex site involving M&E, brickwork, joinery, and finishing trades
- Interpret and provide guidance on technical drawings
- Conduct site inductions and toolbox talks
- Perform regular site inspections to assess progress and quality
- Support the Project Manager with progress reporting and programme tracking

A growing and established main contractor specialising in new build projects valued up to £10 million. Projects include commercial developments and care homes.
Candidate Requirements:
- SMSTS and First Aid certification
- CSCS card (preferably Black)
- Proven experience managing care home or commercial build projects for a main contractor
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Ambition to progress within a long-term role
